The benefit of having an agent help you find your new home, is that a good agent will have a list of the communities, pricing, locations and community common areas available for you. Sure, you can look on Realtor or Zillow, but going line by line in your search can be a daunting task; then trying to locate all the builders in a specific area, identifying their price ranges, and HOA features. Another benefit is that an agent already has the questions that you need to ask; to properly compare the various builders. It doesn’t have to be a hit and miss as you visit each builder and then having to go back to ask the questions. The best part, is that there is no cost to you. Builders already have a separate marketing account set aside for agents. One last thought… The builder’s agent represents the builder.
